Built for Modern Mission Operations
RA231™ (Right Ascension 231) is a space systems engineering team focused on building an open-source, cloud-native ground system platform for spacecraft and satellite operations. Our approach is centered on modern infrastructure patterns and open standards, designed to avoid proprietary, closed systems and support long-term operability. We design ground systems with a clear technical philosophy:
-
Cloud-Native Architecture Aligned with Modern Deployment and Operations Practices
-
Open-Source Ecosystem Integration Rather Than Proprietary, Closed Tooling
-
Open Standards to Support Interoperability and Reduce Lock-In
-
Modern Data and Telemetry Processing Patterns Built to Scale with Mission Needs
Supporting Government and Commercial Space
RA231's target market includes organizations flying spacecraft and satellites, including federal agencies and mission organizations (NASA, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Space Force, Air Force, Defense) as well as commercial satellite companies.
Leadership Team
RA231’s team includes expertise across ground systems engineering, cloud and platform engineering, mission planning, software engineering, and security, supporting the design and delivery of modern mission operations platforms.
